After everyone meeting at Shifty's house at 7am we all headed off to to Brize Norton to pick up one of the Dan's mates (Paul).
Leaving Brize the weather was perfect, but who could have forseen what happened next.

Heading out of town it was decided that Charlotte should lead as she had the sat nav,
In an attempt to overtake Matt who was in front of us he decided to overtake the other 2 cars as-well which resulted in Charlotte hitting Matt's rear arch, not wanting to damage Matt's car she swerved to avoid him and ended up driving into the kerb on the opposite side which totally destroyed her front mini 30 alloy.
After a wheel change at the side of the road (thanks Kerem for the spare) we headed on our way to Combe.

When we arrived at Combe and finally got our club stand passes (which were held at the gate due to a Combe admin mess-up) some track action was already underway..
After looking around the trade stands for bargains we all went round the side of the track to take photos and food.Matt managed to aquire a track pass (courtesy of Charlie Brown).

At 4pm Matt went out on track, 3 laps into his session his car was,nt sounding too healthy, so retiring from the track back to the stand we set about trying to fathom out what was wrong with it. After 30 mins of tinkering he decided to risk it and drive home (he made it back ok).
So all in all it was an eventful but brilliant day with great company, great cars and most of all superb weather. Roll on Combe 2010.
