After meeting Roo at her place we headed off for our 83+ mile trip to Cambridgeshire for the Annual charity Thong Run, After filling up with fuel we headed off. The trip took us just over 1 1/2 hours with glorious sunshine all the way. On arrival at the campsite we were greeted by Barry complete with a mankini (not a pretty sight lol).

Later on in the day Toyboy and Chip and family turned up so we decided to all camp together. After everyone pitching thier tents the decision was made to go out to get some shopping, Roo and me went to Tesco's and picked up necessaries ie: drink, food and of course glowsticks for the glowshow in the evening.
On our return I thought it was about time I took some much needed pictures. As the afternoon drew on we decided to get Morphing and promptly got into our suits, I think everyone enjoyed 2 crazed fools walking about in Morph suits, we certainly got a few laughs.

Soon the evening came round and after de-morphing we went to the club house for drinkies and a chat, some people were lining up thier cars outside for the glow show to which I was eventually persuaded to do as well (good job we bought the glow sticks earlier eh). Soon it was time to head back so after a few more drinkies I went to bed.

DAY 2

After getting up at 7.30 I thought id take some more photo's of the cars not before brushing my teeth with toothpaste and swilling with 7up (Had no water lol), Most of the morning was spent sitting around and chatting waiting for the run to start. We had a drivers briefing at 11.30 and the went out on the run taking some great country roads and stopping off for a quick photoshoot along the way.

After about an hour of driving round we all headed back to the campsite where the trophy's made from Lego were awarded to various show goers for their cars in class, I managed to win 2nd in Modified class which was nice.
At about 3.00 Roo and myself headed off home with a stop off at South Mimms services for a well earned break. Barry joined us on his way back and eventually followed us back homeward.
This had to be one of the best weekends i've enjoyed for a long time, Great company, fantastic fun and a superb run through the Cambridgeshire countryside. Lets see if 2011 can top it.
